Feeling... honey kisses
I’ve been using Kiehl’s Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream for exactly one week, and although initially sceptical about using a product with such a pretty jar, I can confidently say I am hooked. After a month abroad, my skin has been abashedly devoid of routine. Cue the entrance of Kiehl’s and the resulting post-holiday glow.
I’d apply the Kiehl’s Skin Renewing Cream after cleansing my face in the morning or night (a little goes a long way), depending on when my shower was going to be that day. The cream has a mild scent, and although it contains honey and ginseng root to assist the skin renewal process, the aroma in the jar reminded me of an herbal tincture. After application, the scent was barely noticeable.
The product has a creamy texture in the pot but smooths out beautifully and feels lightweight once on the skin. Often, I am hesitant to use creams that could be too heavy. While they work wonders for any dry patches on my skin, my t-zone is an oil machine and anything too heavy could call for break-out city if I were to use it all over my face. Kiehl’s Pure Vitality was fast-absorbing, leaving little time for uncomfortable tackiness. In a few minutes, I could pat my skin with my hands and not feel a trace of the product.
However, the result would be on my skin for all to see—a slightly dewy, beautiful smooth complexion. The cream soothed both dry (and slightly sunburnt) areas on my nose while smoothing and hydrating larger areas on my face such as the cheeks and forehead, leaving my overall complexion glowing and revitalised.
I’m not the kind of gal who wears much make-up, so a reliable skin tonic is always on my lookout list. Kiehl’s Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream has landed a solid place in my skincare routine. I know my skin will look refreshed, hydrated, and smooth. Kudos to Kiehl’s!
