HOW TO | TWO TONE EYE MAKEUP

Blending two eye-shadow tones can be tricky, but with good tools, it is totally achievable, and it can look amazing. This two-tone look has got us thinking of a sexy, modern take of a ’70s summer à la Farrah Fawcett.

We were lucky to work with the beautiful Jess Thomas, runner-up in Australia’s Next Top Model,  and awarded make-up artist Verity Griffths on andthis exclusive #SauceShoot and makeup tutorial. Jess’ complexion is naturally creamy and she is blessed with bountiful freckles. Add to this her copper colour locks and you have a palette match made in heaven!

Below, Verity gives us her lyrical step-by-step product breakdown guide in creating this eye-catching, two-tone look.

01.
Eyes realised by M.A.C Eyeshadows — Shades of Glamour (limited edition) and Steamy

02.
Skin canvas gently rocked by M.A.C Face and Body

03.
Under eye powered by LA PRAIRIE Light Fantastic Cellular Concealing Illuminating Eye Treatment

04.
Brows set with ART DECO Brow Gel - Clear

05.
Lips left to BURTS BEES for love

For Jess’ rich copper locks, Verity applied a boost to the roots with O&M Atonic, followed by a smoothing solution by O&M’s Frizzy Logic to relax the ends, and finished with a salty spritz of O&M Surf Bomb for the effortlessly sexy beach babe.
