grown alchemist HYDRA-RESTORE CREAM CLEANSER iS Like a holiday for your skin
Lately, I have been trying really hard not to use words such as aesthetics and minimal but it does seem to pop up a lot whenever I try and describe the brand Grown Alchemist. It was love at first sight when our PR package arrived at the office announcing their arrival into Mecca. Super minimal, chic design with a precise description of all the ingredients. Ticked all our boxes. And (safe to say) I am little obsessed with their Olive Leaf & Plantago Extract Cleanser.
And here's why
Anyone who knows me, knows I love cleansing. I swear by my three-step cleansing routine: cleansing balm, cleanser, followed by micellar water. I do this twice a day : am & pm. Some might even suggest I am little excessive, but what can I say the heart wants what it wants! My excessive cleansing ritual can be a bit of a hit and miss. A hydrating cream cleanser can cause breakouts, and a foam cleanser can cause major dryness and that stretchy feeling. BUT, this cream cleanser has been an absolute game-changer. I have visibly reduced pores, toned, and soft skin that feels balances. Not dry and not greasy either. The perfect equilibrium. This product is extremely soothing, great for reducing redness. In saying that, it's also a fantastic cleanser to use after gym, when you want to take all the dirt and sweat off but still want to show off that post-workout glow.
The hero ingredient is Olive leaf extract, a powerful antioxidant and tonic.
The only con :
The website states this cleanser removes make-up, but I would suggest using a pre-cleansing oil or balm, or Micellar water to take it all off. This is the only con I can think of : it doesn't remove makeup completely.
If you haven't experienced a cream cleanser before, you need to give this one a go! Simple and effective. Suits most skin types. My skin is dehydrated (with occasional hormonal breakouts) and it works really well for my skin type.
Two thumbs up!
