The acne fighting collagen mask from Mario Badescu to the rescue! Here is why we highly rate this product.

GAME CHANGER SERIES II | MARIO BADESCU SUPER COLLAGEN MASK

To be honest—I kind of goofed up ordering this mask. After reading something about the bizarre skincare powers of pig collagen, my instant-gratification-driven self pulled up Amazon, saw Mario Badescu’s Super Collagen Mask, slapped the next day shipping button, and that was that.

I’ve always associated collagen with young, plump, baby-like skin, so I assumed this mask was on the hydrating side of the scale, so I was originally disappointed when it started to dry and crack after around 10 minutes on the skin. After rinsing, I noticed that some patches of cystic/hormonal acne that had been terrorizing me for days looked far less horrendous, and my pores seemed to have tightened up instantly. I checked the ingredient list to find out that this is actually Kaolin clay based, which would have usually sent my dry skin running for the hills. But somehow this magical mask doesn’t dry me out or give my skin that itchy, tight feeling. Mario Badescu collagen mask for the win!

To use, I target and spot treat this mask on congested areas (avoiding any dry patches) and typically see an improvement in 20 minutes flat.
