IT'S TIME TO DOWNSIZE WITH THESE MULTI USE PRODUCTS
Lip gloss on eyelids? Lipstick on cheeks? Eyeliner on lips? We say, why not. Multi-use products are versatile, economical and excellent time savers.
Eyeliner for the lips.
Emphasise your cupid’s bow by using a highlighting eyeliner pencil (NYX has a few) in a natural metallic finish, giving it the perfect Parisian-style pout. It is a cool understated way of enhancing the sexy upper lip along with highlighting the corners of your eyes. Easy to glide on and perfect to finish. The highlighted natural lip look was recently seen at Diane von Furstenberg and Public School Spring 16 shows.
Lip gloss for glossy eyelids.
This just makes sense, right? This ultra-dreamy look is easily achievable with clear or a lightly tinted lip gloss. Make-up artist Diane Kendal used MAC Clear Lipgloss on the eyelids of models at Carolina Herrera NYFW show to create a heavy glossy look.
Things to avoid : Smearing too much gloss on. Bright and hyper-pigmented colours, as it might settle unevenly into the creases. (Stick to the centre of the lid during application.)
Lipstick for flushed cheeks.
The best trick ever for natural-looking flushed cheeks! And an instant cheekbones enhancer. Opt for a satin finish lipstick in peachy or soft brown tones and lightly dab some on your cheekbones. Avoid super glossy or extra matt lipsticks on powder foundation.
Clinique’s chubby sticks in berry and earthy tones is a must-try.
