MODERN MINIMAL BRIDAL BEAUTY BY
MAKE-UP ARTIST AND BRIDAL BEAUTY EXPERT, LEISA WELCH
Radiant, luminous skin, defined brows and the perfect moist nude lip are key to achieving a polished ‘no makeup’ nude face.
Bridal makeup expert Leisa Welch created a beautiful modern minimalist look for this exclusive #SauceShoot.
I prepped the skin with Tailor hydrating mist before applying tailor moisturiser and gently massaging in.
Hourglass no.28 primer serum created a beautiful base and prepared the skin for the next step.
I applied Nars sheer glow foundation to the centre of the face and gently blended outwards using a combination of a kabuki brush and fingers for a seamless light finish.
For the next step I used Bobbi Brown concealer duo with a small flat brush over the darkest/purple under eye region. I tapped the area gently with my ring finger until it blended into the foundation and erased the discolouration. Using a thin pointed brush I spot covered any other blemishes on the skin.
I dabbed a Becca beach tint shimmer soufflé with my fingers to the apple of the cheeks to add a natural, subtle flush. A Smashbox highlighter pen applied over the check bones nose and cupids bow added extra luminosity to the skin.
Using a small, soft brush I added Becca shimmering skin perfector poudre around the eye to brighten the eyes before adding a single coat of black mascara to add definition rather than obvious volume/length.
Using Nars brow perfector I filled the brows using light, feathery strokes that followed the natural hair, brushing through to blend before setting with Tweezerman brow mousse to hold in place.
I prepped the lips by buffing in a small amount of Pawpaw cream before using one of the hourglass nude lip stylo crayon’s for a nude, barely there finish.
