Sauce Style Diaries | Viarni Bright

This month we’re shining a light on our friend and PR extraordinaire Viarni Bright within our Sauce Style Diary Series. Viarni always stays true to her laissez faire, feminine side with oversized jackets, tees with soft textiles. Her attitude towards creativity and support towards NZ’s young talent ranks high in our books. Viarni works at Public Library Showroom (one of our favourite showrooms in New Zealand!) and does her job with so much grace and empathy, so naturally we wanted to take a look into her life and share it with you.

“I am 100% a LEO”

I grew up in the beautiful Mount Maunganui and moved to Auckland when I was 20. I have now been here for five years and currently living in Ponsonby! I have been working at Public Library Showroom for just over year now. I manage the Showroom as well as being a Brand Manager for Sales & PR accounts.

ON PERSONAL STYLE
This is a hard one as I channel something different everyday! I am an equal mix of Tom boy and girly girl and like to mix it up. I will often steal my boyfriends jeans and t-shirts but equally love a silky dress or a puffed sleeve top. I am inspired by the 70’s and you can definitely see that in my overall style – which often reflects my colour palette. I mainly wear neutral or earthy colours but love a pop of yellow or green.

Some of my favourites pieces I own I have found in second hand stores, not only is it ethical it is also an amazing way to find something that’s really unique. If I am buying new some of my favourite labels would be Ksubi, Wynn Hamlyn, Beach Knickers, Hansen & Gretel & Dr. Martens.

GO-TO BEAUTY LOOKS

My daily go to beauty look would probably be a bronzy ‘no make-up’ make-up look. Lately I have been loving a pop of colour on my eyes like rusty orange or peachy pink. My on going favourite fragrance has been Elizabeth Arden Sunflower but I also adore Maison Louis Marie oil in No 4.

WHERE TO SHOP

Some of my favourite places to shop and eat would be Waves Vintage, Black Box Boutique, Honey Bones, Amano and a guilty pleasure of Ponsonby Food Court! I love to unwind by going to any beaches North of Auckland.

WORKING IN PR

It’s always go go go! You have to be adaptable and work in a fast pace environment whilst making sure you are attending to everyone’s needs and managing your time well. You definitely have to be a multi tasker! All though it is challenging its SO rewarding and I work with the best team who have become my family too.

Besides having amazing friends and working in an industry I love - probably the fact that there is so much more to come! I feel like I have achieved a lot in my almost 25 years and am excited about what the future holds.
