Uranus Retrograde: A Guided Journal
10 September 2026 — 8 February 2027
Over the next few months, Uranus retrograde invites us to slow down and reconsider how we communicate, connect, consume information and make decisions. After a period that may have felt particularly fast-paced, noisy or mentally full, this is a chance to step back and ask: what is actually working for me and what isn’t anymore?
01 — YOUR VOICE IS KEY
Uranus retrograde in Gemini asks us to look at the way we communicate and where we might be editing ourselves for the comfort or approval of others.
Where in my life do I find myself over-explaining?
Whose opinions have I been unconsciously allowing to shape my own?
Is there something I’ve been wanting to say but haven’t found the words for?
What would I say if I knew I didn’t need anyone to agree with me?
Where could I communicate more clearly, rather than more loudly?
02 — DIGITAL DISCONNECT
Is being constantly connected actually making me feel connected?
This retrograde offers an invitation to look at our relationship with technology, information and the endless noise around us.
What do I reach for my phone to avoid feeling?
Which digital habits leave me feeling energised and which leave me depleted?
What accounts, conversations or platforms consistently make me compare myself?
What would I do with an extra hour each day if I wasn't scrolling?
03 — A CLOSER LOOK AT RELATIONSHIPS
Who gets access to me?
Which relationships currently feel expansive?
Which conversations consistently leave me feeling drained?
Is there a relationship that feels different now than it did six months ago?
Where do I need stronger boundaries?
Is there someone whose perspective I need to hear even if it challenges me?
04 — LET’S LOOK BACK
What makes more sense now?
Retrogrades can be useful moments to revisit things we thought we had already figured out.
Think back over the past six months.
What happened that I understand differently now?
What disappointment eventually revealed itself as a redirection?
Which ending created space for something better?
What did I learn about myself through a difficult conversation?
What version of myself did I have to outgrow?
05 — CHANGE IS INEVITABLE
Get curious before you get reactive. Rather than immediately blowing everything up, use this period to notice the recurring thoughts, frustrations and possibilities.
What in my life feels stale?
What keeps irritating me that I’ve been dismissing?
What am I craving more of?
What am I craving less of?
Where am I following a path because it was expected of me?
06 — LEMONADE ENERGY
There’s something very Virgo about wanting to do something until you can do it really, really well.
Where do you happily lose hours tweaking, refining and perfecting something not because you have to, but because you genuinely care about the result?
A final check-in
Finish your journaling session by answering these five questions without overthinking them:
I am ready to stop…
I am ready to start…
I need to say…
I need to hear…
I am curious about…
And finally:
What could I simply pay attention to between now and February?
